摘要

The home automation concept has evolved alongside with the technological advancement of electronics focused on areas of control and communication, and also in a pursuit of satisfy the needs and welfare of people interacting with their home. This project focuses on the creation of a automation system, remote type and easy to handle for users. This project evaluates the proposed creation of an automated system with the capability of monitoring and control in the areas of: Lighting, Audio, and Security; through the use of various types of wireless communication such as: Bluetooth, ZigBee, Wi-Fi, and GSM. The system developed in this project is characterized by communication architecture as a star, using a tablet as a central node, which is responsible for controlling and monitoring the entire system through the application developed for the Android operating system. Nodes of lighting and security communication cards are used in conjunction with programmed Arduino Uno cards, as well as its actuators and sensors. The audio application uses a Bluetooth to audio stereo decoder, which is amplified and finally reproduced by speakers.The initial part of the project deals with the definitions and key features about the concept of automation, as well as wireless communications used for system development. Subsequently the system design, the operation of each device on the network and the connections that comprise indicated. Finally, analyzes and evaluates the performance of all devices used for the development of this project and its potential use in home automation.
