In the present study, it is showed that even though companies are focusing theirManagement System as an Integrated System, in which quality, environment, andoccupational hazards prevention are treated as a strategy for efficiency andcompetitivy. Occupational hazards prevention is not well understood as a wholeintegrated into the safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, psyco-sociology, andoccupational health. That is why the companies in Ecuador, must accomplish thelegal requirements of the “Andean Occupational Health and Safety RegulationProtocol”, that deals with four main facts: administrative management, technicalmanagement, human resources management and operative processes.
