摘要

Static cyclic drained shear tests were performed under constant mean effective stress for normally consolidated clay.Moreover, undrained shear tests were performed to investigate the influence of the cyclic drained shear on undrained shear characteristics. The following results were obtained.1) Inclination of hysteresis loop is affected by the number of cycles and the rate of loadings. Consenquently, shear modulus depends on experimental conditions.2) Undrained stress path is greatly affeced by undrained shear rate of loadings. However, undrained stress path is hardly affected by stress history.3) Failure stress state is independent of stress history and undrained shear rate of loadings.
