Basic Techniques of Ryukyuan Performing Arts and Method of Teaching (1) : Song, Sansin, and Dance

摘要

This paper is a case study of the Ryukyuan Performing Arts applying to the combination of song, sansin, and dance. It is impossible to divide the Ryukyuan Performing Arts into individual pieces such as song and performance. That is because the very harmony of each element, music and dance, produces the spirit and form of the Performing Arts. The main concern of this paper is, therefore, the research of a direction of teaching the Ryukyuan Performing Arts in the relation of song, sansin, and dance.
