A Multivariable Self-Tuning Regulator for Load Frequency Control with Controlling Delay

摘要

This paper presents a new method of designing a multivariable self-tuning regulator for load frequency control system through speed governor and excitation controls. The proposed method is applied to a two-area power system provided with nonreheat type turbines, and the control effects of this regulator are examined using digital simulations.
