Hyrtiosanes from labdanes: (-)-Hyrtiosal from sclareol

摘要

(-)-Hyrtiosal and its C-16 epimer have been prepared from sclareol in moderate yield. The absolute configuration of natural product (-)-hyrtiosal has being determined.
