Research on Traditional House in Western Asia: Part 2 Environmental Features of Safranbolu Houses

摘要

This study focused the traditional residence in West Asia as a part of the research ofits environmental features. Especially, this time I investigated the old city in Safranbolu,Turkey, from a point of view its lifestyle, architecture and environment. Furthermore, Ianalyzed the inheritance and transformation of distinctive space in the Sofa and Eyvan inWestern Asia, compared with cases of the other cities.In conclusion, we found that status of rooms is related to the fine view from the window,not livable of traditional houses in Sadenbolu
