Binaural cue preservation for hearing aids using an interaural transfer function multichannel wiener filter

摘要

This paper describes the binaural cue preservation of a noise reductionalgorithm for bilateral hearing aids, namely the multichannelWiener filter with interaural transfer function extension (MWF-ITF).An extra term is added to the cost function to preserve the binauralcues of both the speech and noise component of a signal at the costof some noise reduction. This paper combines the theoretical analysiswith objective binaural performance measures and a perceptualevaluation.
