Energy Efficiency, Cost-Effectiveness, and Air Pollutant Reduction Analysis From Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EE/RE) Projects in Texas Public Schools

The purpose of this report is to provide the preliminary results from an analysis of the potential energysavings, and resultant air pollution reductions associated with the energy savings from the application ofcost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy (EE/RE) projects applied to new and existingTexas Independent School Districts (ISDs). The final report from this analysis would be used in amarketing outreach program to school districts through the Texas Education Agency (TEA), TexasAssociation of School Boards (TASB), and others. This outreach program would be designed in concertwith State agencies such as the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), Public Utility Commission ofTexas (PUCT), and Texas General Land Office (GLO); NGOs, and other federal agencies as appropriate.
