An efficient TFETI based solver for elasto-plastic problems of mechanics

This paper illustrates how to implementeffective solvers for elasto-plastic problems. We considerthe time step problems formulated by nonlinearvariational equations in terms of displacements. To treatnonlinearity and nonsmoothness we use semismoothNewton method. In each Newton iteration we have tosolve linear system of algebraic equations and for itsnumerical solution we use TFETI algorithm. In ourbenchmark we demonstrate our approach on von Misesplasticity with isotropic hardening and use returnmapping concept.
