Detector of covered conductor faults

摘要

In the Czech Republic are distribution lineswith bare conductors replaced by distribution lines withcovered conductor. The PAS system with coveredconductors has many advantages and disadvantages thatare described below. This article describes issue of faultdetection for distribution lines with covered conductors,dependence of partial discharges on fault and finally thedesign plus realization fault detection of coveredconductors. This is a prototype which will be tested andthen optimized. The system will be used for differentvoltage levels and different types of outdoor distributionlines.
