A memorization-based locking system isudwidely used in today’s smart devices, where a user hasudto repeat a text/number/pattern/others from theudremembrance that has been registered before. He/sheudwould be allowed to access the device if the newlyudgiven password is matched with the registered one.udHowever, among this class of passwords, graphicaludpassword schemes are more compatible for smartuddevices due to their heavily graphic-oriented nature.udHowever, existing graphical password schemesudexperience various attacks and threats. Among themudshoulder surfing is the most prominent one, where anudattacker can observe the password through picking onudthe screen. In this project, we propose a shoulder surfingudresistant password scheme using press code, which is audnew kind of code; and hence, a novel authenticationudscheme. In the proposed technique, a user canudauthenticate thyself by repeating the registered pressudcode. We implement our proposed technique on theudAndroid platform, and we have a prototype touddemonstrate at present.
