摘要

The objective of this project is to discuss aboutudInternet of Things (IoT) enabled Relay Network foruddesigning an energy efficient highway lighting system.udThis system is to encourage the nation to reduce theudusage of energy consumption in highway lightingudsystem. By using light sensor and proximity sensor, it willuddetect the light intensity and the movement of theudvehicles through the lamp post. The controller thatudcontrolled the system is Arduino Uno. In order to reduceudthe energy consumption, the selection of device thatudbeen used in this system is chosen based on the usageudof energy consumption itself. This concept will reducingudthe energy consumption used as it is one of hot issue inudthis global. The system works as light intensity andudproximity sends the data captured by the sensors to theudArduino Uno and it transmits the data to Light Emittinguddiode (LED) to switch on the light. Then, XBee Module willudtransmit the data to next lamp post. The data receivedudon first lamp post will be used to switch on the LED. Theudmain objective of this project is to design and develop audprototype model that can reduce energy consumptionudby using light intensity and proximity from the vehicles.udBesides, it is to support government mission toudencourage more people in saving energy.
