A unified model is established for audcurrent-programmed converter, which is both audmodification and an extension of familiar models.udInclusion of the sampling effect allows theudpresence of an additional pole in the current-loopudgain to be inferred. The resulting finaluddouble-slope asymptote is fixed in position, andudthe crossover frequency cannot exceed half theudswitching frequency. A new “stability parameter”udQ_s determines the additional pole and describesudthe degree of peaking in the closed-loopudtransfer functions. Experimental verificationudemploys an analog signal injection technique.
