Numerical algorithms of the radiative transport equation using rotated reference frames for optical tomography with structured illumination
One way of formulating optical tomography is to use the Born series, which isgiven by the Green's function for the homogeneous medium. The three-dimensionalFN method is a numerical method of obtaining the specific intensity of theradiative transport equation expressed as a superposition of three-dimensionalsingular eigenfunctions. In this paper, we compute the Green's function for theradiative transport equation using the three-dimensional FN method withoutmaking diffusion approximation. To illustrate the present formulation ofoptical tomography, we consider optical tomography with structuredillumination.
