Capacity analysis for MIMO two-hop two-relay amplify-and-forward relaying systems

This paper presents an ergodic capacity analysis ofan amplify-and-forward (AF) multiple-input, multipleoutput(MIMO) two-hop, two relay system. We firstderive an expression for the probability density functionof an arbitrary eigenvalue of the system. Then,using this result, a closed form expression for the ergodiccapacity of the system is derived. We presentsimulation results to validate our analysis. We alsoshow that the results for a single relay system can beobtained as a special case.
