Bactericidal ultrafiltration polysulfone membranes are formed by the phase inversion method from polysulfone solutions containing guanidine oligomer (GO). Bactericidal properties relative to gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus) and gram-negative (Escherichia coli) bacteria of theudformed membranes are investigated. It is determined that the GO-content substantially affects the transport and selective characteristics of the formed membranes.
