Correlation dependences between short-term/long-term static strength characteristics and creep resistance of tungsten at high temperatures

Experimental data on high-temperature mechanicalud properties under uniaxial tension of commerciallyud pure tungsten obtained by powderud metallurgy have been analyzed. It has beenud found that for powder metallurgy tungsten inud the high-temperature region ~ (0.5 — 08)Tmelt,ud there is a close correlation among the characteristicsud of short- and long-term static strengthsud and creep resistance, which are described by aud single functional relation.
