摘要

This research is a research and development that aims to produce instructional media of animation cartoon media product and to analyze activeness of student's learning after receiving treatment using animation cartoon media. This research using the Borg and Gall Model (Modification Sukmadinata, 2007). Development research was conducted at Economics Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Sriwijaya. Data collection techniques are questioner, observation, and documentation. Data analyze techniques using quantitative descriptive which changes quantitative data of validity and trial score to qualitative data based on validity and reliability kriterium. After the animation cartoon media product trials were carried out one to one, small group, field test to test the effectiveness, practicality, and validity of animation cartoon media product field trial was held either a limited or wider. To view student learning activeness, researcher conducts research with experimental method using one-shot case study gained of student learning activeness by catagories of class as much as 79,89% by the power point media, while the class gets treated by the animation cartoon media data obtained student learning activeness 82,60%. From the research results of this development animation cartoon media product that can be used in the process of learning development economics and student learning activeness in mind after receiving treatment using animation cartoon media of the average score of student tend to be higher if compared with who do not receive treatment with animation cartoon media. As an accompanist impact of this development study received on average of 80,49% positive response to the use of media in teaching development economics
