Migrations in Western Pomerania in the 1940s and 1950s – a Review of Literature

摘要

The article has been intended to review the most important publications concerning the post-war migrations in Western Pomerania. As a result of massive migrations which took place just after the Second World War the former population of that region was almost totally replaced by a new one. The displacement of the German population, the big settlement action to attract here Polish – and other – populations, as well as later migrations starting from the 1960s are the matters that have been already researched, mainly by historical disciplines. As a result there is a rich literature.
