The purpose of this study was to determine public opinion Surabaya to show " Yuk Keep Smile " in Trans Tv .udTheoretical basis who is used. is the S - O - R . According to this theory the effect is specific reactions to specific stimuli , so one can expect and predict suitability between the message and the reaction communicant . Moreover , thisudtheory clarify about the effect that happen at the receiving as a result of science communication .udThe population in this study were aged 17 years or older and who live in Surabaya . The sampling technique uses the technique of multistage cluster random sampling with a population of 2,119,098 inhabitants. This data collectionuduse a questionnaire with Likert scale .udThe results of this study states that the public opinion of Surabaya on presentation " Yuk Keep Smile " get a positive opinion . They respond the presentation " Yuk Keep Smile " is a comedy show that is entertainment , withoutudquestioning the scenes that are not suitable to be shown . They just take the positive aspects of the comedy mentioned that is raised in terms of story and the other side they see themselves like this show because they feel the whole of theudmaterial is a great and beautiful event , unique and very entertaining and full of creativity .
