The YKS packaging full of entertainment is considered not entering religious meaning of the month of Ramadan, which is supposed to be filled with sacred values. The presentation will provide a diversion against the audience's perception in Surabaya of the meaning of Ramadan could have been meant as a glamour. The existence of these concerns, researcher interested in doing research to find out the audience’s perception in Surabaya of “the meaning of Ramadan”udin YKS Trans TV by using the approach of Reception Analysis.udThe method that used in this research is decriptive qualitative, accompanied by in-depth interviews to collect the necessary data for the research.udThe result of this research are obtained through analysis from recapitulation of in-depth interviews with each informant. Indicated that indeed every audience has its own way to understand and interpret the impression of YKS From the research appear 3 categories of meaning; first, the audiences interpret impression of YKS contains elements of religion and glamour (Dominant-hegemonic Position); second, the audiences interpret impression of YKS more glamour elements while its religious element is little (Negotiation Position); third, The audiences interpret impression of YKS is full of glamour without religious elements (OppositionaludPosition).udKeyword : Perception, The impression of Ramadan, Reception Analysis
