摘要

This review is focused on the basic principles,udthe main applications, and the theoretical models developedudfor various redox mechanisms in protein film voltammetry,udwith a special emphasis to square-wave voltammetry as audworking technique. Special attention is paid to theudthermodynamic and kinetic parameters of relevant enzymesudstudied in the last decade at various modified electrodes,udand their use as a platform for the detection of reactiveudoxygen species is also discussed. A set of recurrentudformulas for simulations of different redox mechanisms ofudlipophilic enzymes is supplied together with representativeudsimulated voltammograms that illustrate the most relevantudvoltammetric features of proteins studied under conditionsudof square-wave voltammetry.
