This paper look at the implications of the 1998 Strategic Defence Review (SDR)for the logistic support given to 3 Commando Brigade, Royal Marines and willattempt to identify areas where, given the realities of the new defenceenvironment, improvements can be made to their logistic support, with referenceto commercial ideas and concepts.
