Behavior which means to hide dissatisfaction with physical education, has in a study of Lyngstad (2010) been designated as “hiding techniques”. The purpose with this task is to investigate hiding techniques among students in physical education, while examining reasons why students adopt hiding techniques. The results of the study show that students use several hiding techniques in physical education. Techniques used by students are: clowning, teasing and trivialize, being tough, noisy and violent, do something else that they'd rather succeed with, gets hurt, in addition to shirking away or take a passive role in the activities.
