How is the Catholicn Women Association (CWA) in Cameroon engaged in their work for the sick, particulary persons suffering from HIV and Aids ?

The CWA is a faith-based organization operating under the umbrella of the Catholic Churchwith the approval of the Episcopal (Bishops’) Conference of Cameroon. As an association ofwomen , they cannot be indifferent in the face of the HIV epidemic which has ravaged a largesection of the society, especially the women, the youth, and the family which is the basic cell of thesociety. As mothers who play a very important role in the church, therefore, they are directlyconcerned with the fight and prevention of HIV, and in providing health care delivery to peopleliving with HIV and AIDS.
