Existence of periodic traveling wave solutions for the Ostrovsky equation

We are concerned with the Ostrovsky equation, which is derivedfrom the theory of weakly nonlinear long surface and internal waves in shallowwater under the presence of rotation. Based on a variational method, we showthe existence of periodic traveling wave solutions.
