Child Care and the Labor Supply of Married Women.

摘要

This investigation is an empirical analysis of family demands for market and nonmarket child care services and the impact of these demands on the work effort of married women. The analysis examines the effects of child care cost, quality and availability on care demands and labor supply. The responsiveness of these decisions to federal policy changes is also examined.
