Federal Arctic Research Information Workshop: Workshop Proceedings. Held in Anchorage, Alaska on March 19-21, 1991

The Federal Arctic Research Information Workshop was organized on behalf of the Inter-Agency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC) in order to facilitate the exchange of information on Federal research to fulfill the intent of the Arctic Research and Policy Act of 1984. The Workshop was held on March 19-21, 1991, at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. Representatives from Federal Agencies were invited to report on recent accomplishments of research and related activities and to exchange information on current and future projects and programs. The various Federal Agencies included the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Energy, Health and Human Services, Interior and Transportation. The Environmental Protection Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Science Foundation, and the Smithsonian Institution also presented papers at the workshop.
