Cambrian Stratigraphy of the Wendover Area, Utah and Nevada

摘要

In the paper the authors describe the Cambrian sections exposed in the Wendover area, name 10 formations, interpret depositional environments, and place these environments within a regional context. The report is an outgrowth of a regional study of the Cambrian outer-shelf environments in the Great Basin by McCollum and of recent detailed geologic mapping within the Pilot Range, northern Toano Range, and Silver Island Mountains by Miller and his associates.
