Object-Oriented Implementation of a Drag-and-Drop Protocol.

摘要

The author has developed a generic implementation of a drag-and-drop protocol between different applications with continuous feedback. Programmers can implement application-specific drag-and-drop operations by subclassing from parent classes provided in the GINA application framework. In this way, the technical difficulties of communicating between independent applications in the X and Motif environment are hidden while programmers can still implement individual feedback.
