Young people across the country are helping frail elderly people who are homebound. These projects attract young people from every economic bracket, educational and cultural background. The report highlights a variety of project models which can be easily replicated in a community through the local school system; hospitals; social services; youth conservation corps; local universities or community colleges; community centers; and youth social organizations such as high school and college fraternities, sororities or social services clubs.
