Computational Aspects of Nodal Method for Simulation of Electronic Circuits

The techniques aimed to reduce round-off errors in the nodal method for simulation of passive and active networks are described. The extension of the node-elimination approach to networks with various types of ideal elements (dependent or independent) is presented, which permits one to perform all calculations on the element-description level without formulation of network equations. Several simple examples are given which demonstrate how this approach can be used.
