Through our cooperative agreement with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals/Office of Public Health/Section of Environmental Epidemiology and Toxicology (LDHH/OPH/SEET) has evaluated environmental data collected during the 2011 Site Reassessment of the EVR-Wood Treating/Evangeline Refining Company Superfund Site (EVR site). LDHH/OPH/SEETs review of this data was performed to determine whether media from the EVR site contains concentrations of contaminants that could pose harm to public health and recommend any actions needed to mitigate exposures and protect health.
