The manual provides a practical guide to the identification of 'larval' andjuvenile cephalopods. A comprehensive glossary of morphological terms is presented, as is a general pictorial key to the young stages of cephalopods, primarily to the family level. Systematically organized by order and family, the manual presents characters for adult and young forms, keys, illustrations, distributional and biological information, and references to pertinent literature.
