Development of Voluntary Family Care Networks for Employees and Retirees: APublic/Private Partnership. Corporate Eldercare

摘要

The objectives of the Grant were to: (1) establish company sponsored Eldercareactivities in 16 corporations. Types of activities included educational seminars, support groups, and informational activities that assisted employees who had difficulty providing care for ill or disabled family members; (2) strengthen the coping ability of family caregivers to provide appropriate and quality services to acutely and chronically ill family members; and (3) develop models of public/private partnerships in the planning, development, and implementation of Eldercare activities within several corporations that are SeniorReach partners with the Maryland Office on Aging.
