Computer Aided Conformance Checking: Checking Residential Building Designsagainst Building Regulations with the Aid of Computers

摘要

All building designs have to be checked against building regulations before abuilding license can be obtained. Code checking is still a manual process, based on technical drawings; the current state of information technology could well bring about significant changes. The ultimate objective is computer aided conformance checking, in which designs are checked against the building regulations supported by computers.
