Solid Desiccant Heat Pipe Dehumidifier. Final Report, May 1989-January 1992

摘要

Reduction in the first cost of heat actuated building space air conditioningsystems through the development of a polymer, heat pipe dehumidifier has been investigated through component and system design studies and materials experiments. Two promising methods for producing an economic polymer desiccant coating were defined and evaluated. The incorporation of these coatings onto an evaporatively cooled heat pipe dehumidifier component was shown to offer good promise for leading to efficient and cost effective desiccant air conditioning systems.
