The primary focus of the lesson is to explain how the course developed out of the needs expressed by facilitators and team leaders involved in the Quality Improvement Process. In addition, the authors demonstrate an active facilitation style and explain how to adopt that style as one's own. The course is only one step in improving the Quality Improvement Process at the Internal Revenue Service.
