Technical Evaluation of the Vertical Loop Reactor Process Technology

A vertical loop reactor (VLR) is an aerobic suspended growth activated sludgebiological treatment process similar to an oxidation ditch. The report summarizes the major findings and is based on analysis of available information from site visits, a detailed design of a full scale VLR system by the report authors, information from consultants, VLR and oxidation ditch manufacturers.
