摘要

The U.S. National Science Foundation is promoting and partially supporting long-term research stays by American scientists and engineers in Japanese laboratories. A number of recipients of such grants were asked to write overviews and personal impressions of their Japanese host organizations. The document is comprised of such reports on ten Japanese labs doing work related to the biosciences.
