These appendices are part of the documentation for the 1990 revision of the Foodand Drug Administration's Total Diet Study food list and diets. The revision is based on food consumption information from the USDA 1987-88 Nationwide Food Consumption Survey. The appendices include a listing of the Total Diet Study foods, preparation and cooking instructions, the shopping list for foods and ingredients, daily intakes of the Total Diet Study foods for 14 age-sex groups, and consumption levels for foods in the database of the Nationwide Food Consumption Survey.
