Application of Ground-Penetrating Radar Methods in Determining HydrogeologicConditions in a Karst Area, West-Central Florida

The report describes how ground penetrating radar (GPR) methods were used todelineate subsurface features in a karst area in west-central Florida and possible application to other hydrogeologic studies. A description of the GPR equipment used for the study, a brief overview of GPR principles, a description of the hydrogeology at five study sites, and the interpretation of GPR data collected in 1987 and 1990 at those sites are presented.
