摘要

The authors are developing an incompressible Navier-Stokes solution method. Ithas been decided to use finite volume discretization on boundary fitted structured grids, using a staggered placement of the unknowns. The authors' purpose here is to present a discretization that is exact for uniform flow fields on grids obtained by piecewise bilinear coordinate mapping (the authors restrict themselves to the two two-dimensional case here), and that is second order accurate when the mapping is smooth.
