Felony Defendants in Large Urban Counties, 1990. National Pretrial ReportingProgram

This report provides expanded detail on the results of the National PretrialReporting Program (NPRP) for 1990 and supplements the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) Bulletin Pretrial Release of Felony Defendants, 1990. Describing those charged with felonies in the 75 largest counties, the NPRP is designed to track prospectively for a year a sample of cases through each major decision point, from arrest through sentencing, in the criminal justice system.
