摘要

The organizational and technical presentations describing Gap Analysis were made by the Principal Investigators for the Arizona and Oregon Gap Analyses (Lee Graham and Blair Csuti, respectively). The group was divided into work groups to discuss potential cooperation issues and other concerns. Subsequent discussions among the Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin Departments of Natural Resources resulted in identification of specific concerns and proposed future actions. The Gap Steering Committee members will meet over the next several months to develop a strategy for implementing a biodiversity assessment that meets the needs of the state cooperators and provides data transferable to the Gap Analysis protocols.
