The bulletin provides State-level estimates of agricultural real estate taxessince 1890. Estimates include average taxes per acre for 1890-1991, and total taxes and taxes per $100 of full market value for 1909-91. The bulletin also explains the methods used by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for obtaining and estimating the data.
