Interfacial Phenomena in Polymer System: A Dielectric Approach

摘要

The work presented in the thesis is focused on the detection, description and interpretation of interfacial polarization effects in heterogeneous polymeric materials, using dielectric spectroscopy, and its applications in polymer technology. Materials containing two or three components were studied. A modern fully automated dielectric spectrometer was developed and is discussed in the thesis. Theoretical models for calculating the dielectric properties of two-component mixtures from the dielectric properties, the volume fractions and the specific morphology of the components are reviewed and applied to some practical examples.
