摘要

The 1989 Teenage Attitudes and Practices Survey (TAPS), a targeted-population study from the National Health Interview Survey, was undertaken by the National Center for Health Statistics, the Office on Smoking and Health, the National Cancer Institute, and the American Cancer Society to provide data for in-depth analysis of teenage smoking behavior and to describe the uptake continuum for sub-populations of adolescents. The report presents frequencies and/or percent distributions for virtually all the data items from the TAPS questionnaire. It is intended to provide a convenient source of comprehensive data related to the use of tobacco products by adolescents and to encourage interested readers to undertake further analysis of the TAPS data.
