Beat the Dealer in Holland Casino's Black Jack

This article concerns the game Black Jack played according to the rules of thefoundation 'Holland Casino's' in the Netherlands. It is shown that the strategies based on Thorp's original ten-count system lead to a loss by the players. However, it is also shown that these strategies can be adapted in such a way that players gain and thereby can beat the dealer. The methods used for deriving these strategies are strongly based on extensive simulation and combinatorial probability calculus.
